Unless any previous arrangements have be made in writing with multi-piece orders, your shipment will be sent via
Standard Freight (LTL) Delivery: You are ordering a heavy or oversized item/s that will be delivered by a common freight carrier also known as LTL carriers (Less Than Truckload). We utilize a variety of LTL carriers, and as a result, not all delivery interactions are the same. Such carriers for example are T-Force (formerly UPS), YRC, Old Dominion, R&L Carriers, etc. To accommodate this, and prepare you for delivery acceptance, you will receive a tracking email the moment the item/s leave the warehouse. The carrier will contact you directly to schedule delivery ahead of time. It is highly suggested at this time for you to start communicating with them about your shipment.
Most carriers provide curbside delivery ONLY. All LTL freight carriers will be delivering from a 26 to 53-foot tractor trailer (semi-truck) with a liftgate. Some municipalities and some delivery areas prohibit or limit the access of semi-trucks. You, the customer, are responsible for knowing those restrictions before placing your order. In these circumstances, customers may need to arrange pick-up at a local trucking distribution center or a common area that is more accessible for the semi-truck. Delivery includes the freight driver (only 1 person) unloading the fully-assembled equipment to you on pallets. The package is unloaded from the truck with a lift-gate and a pallet jack. They will place the package as close to the curb of the destination address as possible. Inspect packaging for visible damage PRIOR to signing the delivery receipt. If there is damage, notate accordingly on the delivery receipt and get a damage report number from the driver. Send a copy of the delivery receipt with the damage report number to jacob@powerhouseathleticstn.com. You have the right to refuse the shipment for damages. It is the responsibility of the customer to move the assembled piece/s inside the delivery address. If this is an issue, please make arrangements before the delivery.
